When you are 300 or so yards in, does the swatch suddenly change from being a swatch to a full fledged work in process?
So I suppose I should add it to my WIP collection, but really....it's just a very big swatch! :)

I'd say it's a WIP at this point... and it looks good so far. You've already seen what I'm working on, though I have to admit that I did not knit much this week for various reasons
