A Little Less Behind

This clue was published several weeks ago, I just finished her today. :( Real life keeps getting between me and my knitting needles, and I suspect it is only going to get worse.

Slow Bee (see side bar for link) is one clue away from being complete. I would really like to get her off the needles this week as I have another project in mind for them.

Rocking and Rolling with Casablanca

It was a huge, mondo,great big clue this week for Casablanca, with warnings that another big one was on the way - but we are so very close to the end. Only two clues left to go, which is sad, but Anne has dropped some very heavy hints that there will be more.

Lots of people have given suggestions on the beads for Sotsiii. I guess that knitters are divided been the sparkly and the pearly types. At least I have time to go shopping. The first clue comes out August 15th. There is still time to join. The Nautical Knitter runs a really fun knit along, with prizes and good people around.

I am still way behind on the other knit alongs. I have two more rows to complete clue 10 for Slow Bee (the lilac one) and after that it has only one more clue to go. Slow Bee 2, I am three clues behind. I haven't even picked it up since the last picture of it. The Goddess Mystery Shawl is lounging at two rows into clue 4.

But as Lace Knitting and narcotics do not mix, I don't think I will be catching up today.

Bad Cat Designs Pattern 9 for the Summer Sampler, she calls this Fritillaria , which are commonly known as Crown Imperials. Very nice knit, check her out if you can.

Yet another swatch

Sotsiii by Dk the nautical knitter is starting up on August 15th. The swatch was posted days ago, but I only just go to it...now my question is, should I use the pearl look beads, or the clear sparkly ones ?

Not much but some

There hasn't been a whole heck of a lot of knitting going on around here the past week or so. It is a sign of how sick I felt that I couldn't handle knitting.

I feel better today, let's hope it lasts !

Getting somewhere

The white is clue 5 for Casablanca, all up to date on that one. :)

The lilac is clue 9 for Slow Bee and I am two clues behind on that.

So far behind !

The final clue for Slow Bee 1 came out today. I am so far behind on this one, still on clue 9 and the final one is clue 11. I am anticipating getting the next section of my test knit this weekend as well, and I was warned it will be a long one ! But, maybe as the final clue is out I will be motivated to actually get on and knit it.
