Moving Right Along

If I can get Slow Bee 1 (the lilac one with the clear beads that look like drops of water) done by the end of Wed I will officially be caught up ! Phew, this one, Goddess Knits Anniversary Mystery Shawl is now up to nearly 600 stitches !

I had a plan, and then forgot to follow it for carrying the used colors all the way up to the edging. :( Oh well, I am sure that no-one other than me will notice two rounds of yellow that are not there.

Don't bother to "embiggeran" it is blurry.

Let's try this again

I think it is that old Mystery Lace yarn that was the jinx...different yarn and the pattern flows wonderfully !

Uh Oh

It looks like I have been frogged.

Where does the time go ?

The printer still isn't cooperating with me, so I started working from a chart that I hand drew.....mistake number one thinking I could count. So this is not exactly right, but the cavalry printed me the chart for the next one and delivered it today, so hopefully Slow Bee will be right.

This is Slow Bee 2 and don't you just love that edge ?

Who is Afraid of Spiders ?

Summer Sampler from Bad Cat Designs....pattern name Grand Spider.

It was really really really fun to knit, kept me on my toes.

I laughed in the face of lifelines, shrugged at the idea of practice swatches...it was awesome.

Friday Update

Casablanca was the first project to issue the next clue today. I had completed it as written by 10:30.....when I posted my pictures to the group it was discovered that a key instruction was missing....so I unpicked some and then knit on again.

My printer then decided that it would not print out the entire chart for the other knit alongs that I am in. I am not quite sure what I am going to do about that as trying to knit from the .pdf file on my screen was not working for me at all.

Progress on Sunday

Slow Bee 1, clue 7 was finished just before six this morning. Don't ask why I was up then, I haven't the foggiest.

Goddess Knits followed up later this morning and it was time to do some things around the house. Things around the house included the first clue of Casablanca !

I thought that I had put every project that I am actively working on the board, but I missed Mystic Meadows.

I think I better get busy and get them done.

Friday morning progress

Slow Bee Mystery Two started this week. The clue was published yesterday, and I did get it cast on but didn't finish it up until this morning. It starts from the center with me added to each end each week. Between that, the others that I am already in, and Casablanca which published today, I think I might be a touch over my head on how much knitting one person can accomplish in a week !

To make up we went for a long swim today ! I am getting quite tanned.

Do Swatches count as Finished Objects ?

Most of the designers that I am working with ( doesn't that sound professional, actually they work, I play in the yarn !) decided to upload charts today. Tomorrow is Knit In Public Day - world wide event, if you don't believe me google - so along with the standard Slow Bee Clue (six for those who are counting) Goddess Knits and Bad Cat Designs uploaded full patterns and Moni jumped in with the swatch for Slow Bee 2.

I, on the other hand, spent the day at the pool !

Breaking the Curve

Mystic Meadows clue 2 is complete. (Ignore the one photo being upside down, missed that in the editing process.) It appears that I was the first one to publish photo's of this to the group - just like me to break the curve !

I can't really believe that no-one else had uploaded photo's of this design, I barely touched it yesterday as I spent the day out with the kids.

Yes, I know I haven't mentioned food in a while. We have a passing relationship food and I. I worked off some extra calories today swimming. :)

Weather

There are good things and bad things about thunderstorms and tornado warnings. The good is the uninterrupted knitting time. Can't do yard work in the storms. Can't get good pics of the knitting either.
